NeighborSpace, Greater Good Studio and Human Scale hosted a stakeholder meeting at La Villita Community Church with 12 participants. The meeting’s purpose was to reconnect with stakeholders who organized and advocated to make the transfer of this property a reality.

The stakeholders shared a common vision for the site that included:
multifunctional spaces
programming using local organizations and vendors
traffic improvements

cultural reference in the design

The stakeholders that attended the event preferred to have the site managed through a shared agreement between the Chicago Park District and NeighborSpace due to the scale of the site and the capacity of existing community organizations.
