Join us for a free, family-friendly event at the 26/Kostner site with food and music. We will share the final conceptual design for the permanent park and summarize the community participation and process that happened in 2026.

Due to recent information, the original plan for the initial activation phase has to change. We are unable to build on the 26/Kostner site until the land is fully transferred over to the Chicago Park District. However, we can continue activating the space through one day programs and events.  We are currently reevaluating what options we have for this fall to keep the phase 1 vision alive.
