On July 16, we met with community members to present two proposals for the overall masterplan based off the feedback we have received so far. One of the designs focused on a central plaza with paths throughout and a track around the site. The second proposal consists of two plazas on opposite ends of the site as anchors connected by overlapping pathways.

The community responded positively, preferring the first option due to the track and opportunities for markets and other spaces. The community liked that there was space for people of various ages to come and enjoy the site. We also discussed scenarios for events where we began sharing ways to deal with access to public bathrooms, parking, and other items.
As we continued meeting online, the community expressed interest in exploring in-person events as the design continues to be developed. Residents expressed their excitement for the new space and the opportunities that are shaping up.
“I like that people of all ages are being thought about, especially the elderly. I would use this track for my own exercise.”
